Main Street Web ("I," "me") builds websites for Louisiana trades and small businesses. This page explains what information I collect through mainstreetbr.com, how I use it, and the choices you have.

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to send me through the forms on this site:

• Mockup request form: your name, business name, email or phone number, type of business, current website, and anything you write in the message box.
• Book a time form: your name, business name, email or phone number, whether you'd like a phone or Zoom call, your preferred day and time, and any notes.
• If you call, text, or email me: your phone number or email address and whatever you include in your message.

This site does not use advertising trackers, does not sell ads, and does not set cookies of its own.

How I use it

• To reply to your request, build your mockup, and schedule your call.
• To work on your website if you become a client.
• To keep basic records of conversations with potential and current clients.

I never sell, rent, or trade your information. I won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing texts without asking first.

Services that help run this site

• Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions. Like most web hosts, it keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
• Google (Gmail) receives the email notifications sent when you submit a form.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site, which means your browser loads them from Google's servers.
• Zoom, if you choose a Zoom call.

Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy.

How long I keep it

I keep form submissions and messages only as long as they're useful for working with you. If we don't end up working together, I delete requests within about a year. Client records are kept for as long as needed for the project, taxes, and legal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent at any time. Just email or text me and I'll take care of it within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
